Founded in 2001, Asher House Antiques in Rhinebeck, N.Y., is the Hudson Valley's premier resource for imported antique furniture and accessories. Inside our historic house, antiques lovers, including some of the area's top designers, find treasures to engender great pride and pleasure in their ownership. From period oak and Georgian mahogany pieces to early-20th-century designs (and, when the originals run scarce, expert and authentic reproductions), the selection is broad and beautiful.

There are formal and country furnishings to fill your grand manor or your farmhouse -- and their gardens. French doors at the back open onto a shaded green-garden, a place to sit and dream, also an outdoor showroom for planters, urns, sculpture, benches and gates. Inside you find a large, airy space filled with tables of all types, including some for formal dining, set with porcelain and silver, waiting for the roast to be carved. You'll find chairs, settles, hutches, bookcases, ladders (library, apple-picking and step), buffets and round or oval tables that fold for storage. On them are brasses, silver, china, crystal, porcelain, jewelry and wood accessories, every surface painted or polished.
