A shades-of-gray marble top with a beautiful grooved edge and magnificent burled-walnut drawer facings help make this Louis Philippe chest of drawers a truly stunning piece. A special feature, perhaps typical of mid-19th- century France, is a hidden drawer. This appears to be a four-drawer chest, but what looks as if it is part of the bottom support is actually a fifth drawer.
