This handsome mahogany writing desk with black leather top was hand-crafted in England for Asher House Antiques. Well sized, it has two deep drawers on either side, flanking the more delicate center drawer. It can be placed against a wall in a library, home office, living room or bedroom, of course, but it can also work beautifully as a center-of-the-room piece. That's because it's finished on all sides, with faux drawers on the back to mirror the look of the desk front. The leather has gold tooling, delicately rubbed back for an antique look. Pretty turned, reeded legs complete the elegant look.

This is a very beautiful mahogany writing desk / writing table custom-made in England for Asher House utilizing vintage timber including and especially a stunning set of 19th-century turned legs. Two drawers have edged beading and classic hardware. An olive-green leather top has gilt tooling which has been antiqued -- i.e., rubbed back.
