Circa 1900, this pretty English porcelain trio (plate, cup and saucer) is marked WAA. The initials stand for William Alsager Adderley, who operated the Daisy Bank Pottery in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, from 1876 to 1905.

This bright, colorful English porcelain trio is by Wileman & Company, circa 1895, the chinaware's early Shelley period. Henry Wileman was a partner in the old (built in 1822) Staffordshire pottery from 1853 to 1870 and built the chinaworks there in 1860. Joseph Ball Shelley, a sixth-generation potter, became Wileman's sons' partner in 1872, and the Shelley family eventually took over the business, but the Wileman name was kept until 1925.
